After flying high against Haverford School on Friday, Malvern Prep came back down to earth. The Friars fell just short of the Central Lancers by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. The Friars' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Malvern Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Central, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.

Malvern Prep wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-6 victory against William Penn Charter on the 6th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-2 win against String Theory on the 8th.
