Softball Recap: LaBelle Comes Up Short

LaBelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the St. Brendan Sabres.

LaBelle saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emorie Anderson, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Nevaeh Crumb also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

LaBelle's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for St. Brendan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

LaBelle will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Avon Park at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th. As for St. Brendan, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-2 win against Cooper City on the 15th.
