Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Hailey Pedregon and Sophia Ontiveros Lead Canutillo to Victory

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Canutillo put the hurt on Andress with a sharp 3-0 victory. Canutillo hasn't had any issues with Andress recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Canutillo never let Andress on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-13.

Leading Canutillo to victory were Sophia Ontiveros and Hailey Pedregon. Ontiveros had seven digs and one block, while Pedregon had 14 digs. Ontiveros has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 25 times she's played.

Canutillo's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Andress, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-14.
