Basketball Recap: Cambridge Christian Takes a Loss

With Cambridge Christian's effective field goal percentage at 76% and Clearwater Central Catholic's at 43% on Tuesday, the final result was to be expected on Tuesday. The Cambridge Christian Lancers came up short against the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders, falling 58-35. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 64-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Cambridge Christian lost, don't look at Zay Burton. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. Ian Jansen was another key player, putting up nine points.

Brody Church was his usual excellent self, scoring 12 points and five rebounds for Clearwater Central Catholic. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamryn Andrade, who posted eight points and eight boards.
