Edinburgh lost to North Decatur back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Lancers were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Chargers. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Kenna Streeval made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adalynn Ramey, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Shyla Watt was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs.

Edinburgh's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Decatur, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Edinburgh will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chargers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
