It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Shawnee can now relate to. They took a blow against the Goreville Blackcats on Monday, falling 90-35. The Redskins just can't catch a break and have now endured 12 losses in a row.

Shawnee's loss came despite strong showings from Kyler Jewell and Noah Mayberry. Jewell posted 17 points and five rebounds, while Mayberry scored 11 points and eight boards. Mayberry has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-25. As for Goreville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-3 record this season.

Shawnee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Goreville, they will challenge Century at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Century comes in on three and Goreville on eight.
