St. Joseph's Catholic won the last time they faced Palmetto and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

St. Joseph's Catholic never let Palmetto on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 25-10.

Leading St. Joseph's Catholic to victory were ALICIA HANLEY and EMI REESE HAND. HANLEY had eight digs and three aces, while HAND had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces HAND has posted over her last 20 matches. EMILY CLARK also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

St. Joseph's Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Palmetto, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coming up, St. Joseph's Catholic will venture away from home to take on Powdersville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmetto, they will be taking part in a tournament against York at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
