Soccer Recap: High Point Central Comes Up Short

If High Point Central was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of T.W. Andrews on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bison lost 7-0 to the Montgomery Central Timberwolves on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, High Point Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 350th, while Montgomery Central are ranked 55th).

High Point Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for Montgomery Central, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.
