Basketball Recap: Noble Takes a Loss

Noble lost against Sanford on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Noble Knights were outmatched by the Sanford Spartans and fell 59-20. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 118th, while the Spartans are ranked 32nd).

Noble is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14. As for Sanford, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Noble will take on Thornton Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sanford, they will face off against Kennebunk at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
