Baseball Recap: Chester County Has No Trouble Against Bolivar Central

Chester County barely beat Bolivar Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Chester County Eagles were the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over the Bolivar Central Tigers on Monday. That looming 11-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Dean Estes made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caleb Cole, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Braylin Robinson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Chester County's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Bolivar Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1.

Looking ahead, Chester County will take on Riverside at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Bolivar Central is facing Lexington at the right time seeing as Lexington is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
