Baseball Recap: Lee Williams Comes Up Short

Lee Williams lost against Prescott last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Volunteers took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Badgers. The Volunteers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lee Williams saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lincoln Lewandowski, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Lee Williams' defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Prescott, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee Williams will venture away from home to take on Mohave at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prescott, they will head out to square off against Greenway at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Demons will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Badgers surely won't give up without a fight.
