Granby had won five straight home games dating back to last season and Jake Gagnon did his part to make it six on Thursday. Everything went the Rams' way against John J. Duggan Academy as they made off with a 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Gagnon, who had eight aces and seven assists. Gagnon is crushing it when it comes to aces: he's served at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-14.
Granby's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nathan Walsh, who had seven assists and two aces. Another player making a difference was Daniel Santiago, who had five kills and two aces.
They weren't the only good server: Granby was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since the start of last season.
