Volleyball Recap: Hamlin Takes a Loss

The Hamlin Chargers didn't have quite enough to beat the Brookings Bobcats on Thursday and fell 3-2. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bobcats 25-20 in the first set.

Hamlin actually scored more points across those five sets (106-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 15-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Hamlin's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brookings, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Hamlin will face off against Great Plains Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Chargers their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Brookings, they will take on Lincoln on Saturday.
