It was a good run, but Jackson Memorial unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Southern Regional Rams by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Jackson Memorial sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Daniel Barry and Giedrius Makselis, who picked up 13 kills apiece. They got some help from Reyhan Talib and his 30 assists. Finally, Samir Talib kept Jackson Memorial's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Jackson Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Southern Regional, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-1.
