Basketball Recap: Johntae Forshae Key Part of Team Effort in Warriors Win

It's playoff time, and Animo Watts had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 55-42 win over the Stern Titans on Saturday. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 66-37 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2018.

Animo Watts' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Johntae Forshae led the charge by putting up 13 points along with seven assists and six boards. Forshae is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Jahari Fisher was another key player, going 6-for-11 to rack up 13 points and five rebounds.

Animo Watts pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Stern, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-2.

Looking ahead, Animo Watts will challenge Panorama at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Animo Watts is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.9 points per game this season. Stern does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
