Volleyball Recap: Buckeye Hawks vs. Verrado Vipers
Buckeye came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Verrado Vipers. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Vipers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Buckeye was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-23.
Rigdon Hunter paced Buckeye's offense, picking up nine kills. Hunter got some help from Marc Vera and his 20 assists. Vera was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
