Football Game Recap: Neshoba Central vs. Canton

After losing to Canton the last time they met, Neshoba Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Neshoba Central were the clear victor by a 54-29 margin over Canton.

Neshoba Central started the match off right with 48 first-half points. Canton wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 21 to make it 48-21 heading into the break. Although Neshoba Central wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war. The win bumped their record up to 7-1. The loss dropped Canton back to even at 4-4.

Next week Neshoba Central take on Germantown at GERMANTOWN HS at 7:00 PM. Neshoba Central will be strutting in after a victory while Germantown will be stumbling in from a defeat. As for Canton, they will face off against Callaway.
