Basketball Game Preview: Kimberly Bulldogs vs. Gooding Senators

Kimberly has gone 8-2 against Gooding recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Kimberly Bulldogs will welcome the Gooding Senators at 7:00 p.m. Kimberly will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Wednesday, Kimberly was fully in charge, breezing past Buhl 55-22. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.

Kimberly found their leader in sophomore Ady Osborne, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. What's more, Osborne also racked up four blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Brooklyn Verwey was another key player, putting up six points along with six boards and four steals.

Kimberly smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Gooding hadn't done well against Filer recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Gooding came out on top against Filer by a score of 55-43.

Kimberly has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Gooding, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Kimberly strolled past Gooding when the teams last played two weeks ago by a score of 66-47. Does Kimberly have another victory up their sleeve, or will Gooding turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
