Soccer Recap: Madera Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Madera was not quite Dos Palos's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 2-1. Madera were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Dos Palos apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2018.

Madera's goal came courtesy of Isaac Nolan, who's now up to two this season.

Madera's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dos Palos, the victory got them back to even at 1-1-1.

Coming up, Madera will head out to face off against Clovis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clovis have yet to allow a single goal through four contests this season, a streak Madera will look to end. As for Dos Palos, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Merced at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
