It was a good run, but Campbell County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 76-66 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bell County Bobcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (63), the Cougars still had to take the loss.

Campbell County's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Bell County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Campbell County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clinton at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Campbell County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. As for Bell County, they will take on Christian Academy of Knoxville in a tournament on Monday. Christian Academy of Knoxville will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Bell County surely won't give up without a fight.
