Basketball Recap: Pymatuning Valley Takes a Loss

Pymatuning Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 49-39 to the Lakeside Dragons. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Pymatuning Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lakeside, their victory bumped their record up to 4-17.

Looking ahead, Pymatuning Valley won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lordstown at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pymatuning Valley is facing Lordstown at the right time seeing as Lordstown is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Lakeside, they will be playing at home against Chagrin Falls at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
