Baseball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

St. James fell victim to Capital City and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 8-0. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

St. James saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Freeman, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Capital City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-21.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. James will face off against Bourbon at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Capital City, they will take on Smith-Cotton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
