Basketball Game Preview: Lindale Eagles vs. Canton Eagles

Lindale will take on Canton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lindale was handed a 23-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Brownsboro, sneaking past 50-47. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Canton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 61-53 victory over Van on Tuesday.

Canton's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Lindale, their victory bumped their record up to 18-6.

Lindale strolled past Canton in their previous meeting back in January of 2025 by a score of 58-42. Will Lindale repeat their success, or does Canton has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
