New Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 77-28 defeat at the hands of the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

New Richmond's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Eau Claire Memorial, their win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the New Richmond Tigers face off against the River Falls Wildcats at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eau Claire Memorial, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 84-32 victory against Holmen on the 4th.
