Basketball Recap: Yelm Takes a Loss

Yelm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 23rd straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 79-21 defeat at the hands of the Olympia Bears. The contest marked the Tornados' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Yelm's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Olympia, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Yelm will be home for the holidays to greet Puyallup at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Olympia will take on Legend in a holiday battle at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
