Middletown is 8-2 against Lower Lake since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Mustangs will face off against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Middletown is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Kelseyville on Friday. They lost 14-2 to the Knights.

Middletown saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Finney, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Lower Lake came up short against Fort Bragg on Friday, falling 20-2.

Lower Lake's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Middletown, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

Everything went Middletown's way against Lower Lake in their previous meeting on April 4th, as Middletown made off with an 8-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
