Highland Prep West never let their opponents score on Thursday. They managed a 6-0 victory over the Santa Rita Eagles. The win was some much needed relief for the HORNETS as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Highland Prep West didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Nishel Gaeta and Eliana Chacon. Gaeta is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: she's made at least six every time she's taken the field this season. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
