Our Lady of the Sun Academy posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 65-28 win over Sonoran Science Academy on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Our Lady of the Sun Academy who now have three in a row.
Leading Our Lady of the Sun Academy to victory were Brady Webster and Joseph Reiss. Webster scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Reiss scored 30 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which Reiss has scored at least a third of Our Lady of the Sun Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Leo Martinez, who scored two points along with four steals.
Our Lady of the Sun Academy now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Sonoran Science Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Our Lady of the Sun Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Leupp Boarding at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Leupp Boarding is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Sonoran Science Academy will take on Verde Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Verde Valley is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
