While Sylvania's victory against Geraldine wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sylvania Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Geraldine Bulldogs on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Sylvania's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Geraldine, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-7-1 record this season.

Sylvania will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Douglas at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Geraldine, they will head out on the road to face off against Whitesburg Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Geraldine has given up an average of 4.3 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
