Softball Recap: Colony Takes a Loss

Colony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Dimas Saints.

Khloe Barros(2027) made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. She also hit two triples, marking her first of the season.

Colony's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for San Dimas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colony will host Valley View at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for San Dimas, they will square off against Alta Loma at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Saints' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Braves have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
