Soccer Game Preview: Shenendehowa vs. Bethlehem Central

The Shenendehowa Plainsmen will venture away from home to challenge the Bethlehem Central Eagles at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Shenendehowa has three straight victories, Bethlehem Central has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Shenendehowa is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New York's top teams: Saratoga Springs, who was ranked 25th at the time (Shenendehowa was ranked fifth). The Plainsmen came out on top against the Blue Streaks by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem Central's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Shaker by a score of 1-0.

Bethlehem Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Shenendehowa, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
