Basketball Game Preview: Lamoille Lancers vs. Lyndon Institute Vikings

The Lamoille Lancers will challenge the Lyndon Institute Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lamoille has five straight wins, Lyndon Institute has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Lamoille took their game with ease, bagging a 64-34 victory over Spaulding.

Meanwhile, Lyndon Institute and Peoples Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lyndon Institute had to settle for second. They took a 66-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolves. Even if the Vikings couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Lamoille pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.5 points. As for Lyndon Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
