St. Johns extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 3-2. They put the hurt on the East Lansing Trojans with a sharp 9-3 win. Considering the Redwings have won three games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

As for East Lansing, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

For East Lansing's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jade Saint-Dic, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That stolen base was Saint-Dic's first of the season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Johns will challenge Fowlerville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Lansing, they will face off against Olivet at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
