Baseball Recap: East Moline United Comes Up Short

East Moline United was the 5-3 winner over Quincy when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell 4-1 to the Blue Devils on Monday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Moline United's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 14-9. As for Quincy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

While East Moline United had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
