Baseball Recap: Wayland-Cohocton Has No Trouble Against Mynderse Academy

The Wayland-Cohocton Eagles made easy work of the Mynderse Academy Blue Devils on Tuesday and carried off a 13-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ethan Loop was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last four matchups. Alex Fedorchuk was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Wayland-Cohocton and bumps their season record up to 16-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Mynderse Academy, they moved to 10-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Wayland-Cohocton will challenge Le Roy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Oatkan Knights will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Mynderse Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
