Softball Recap: St. Ursula Academy Has No Trouble Against Boone County

St. Ursula Academy won the last time they faced Boone County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs blew past the Rebels 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

J Booth was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was V Oberkorn, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for St. Ursula Academy and bumps their season record up to 12-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Boone County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

St. Ursula Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-4 win against Taylor on the 26th. As for Boone County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-7 loss against Conner on the 28th.
