Paxton had won two straight games and Tanner Hebblethwaite did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Paxton Tigers had just enough and edged the Hitchcock County Falcons out 51-48 thanks in part to Hebblethwaite, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 25 points along with six boards and six steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Paxton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Hitchcock County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-4.

Paxton will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sandhills Valley at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
