Recap: Hillsdale Falcons vs. Norwayne Bobcats

It was a good run, but the Hillsdale Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by Norwayne 71-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hillsdale has scored all season.

Beau Polen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Norwayne, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 2 assists. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Parker Metsker was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists.

Hillsdale's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-1. As for Norwayne, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with that win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsdale will take on Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waynedale is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. Norwayne won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Brookside at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Brookside will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Norwayne is ranked 75th).
