Morris had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the East Moline United Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Olivia Peterson paced Morris' offense, picking up six kills. Peterson got some help from Alexis Williams and her seven assists. Rosemary Misener and Brooke Thorson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Morris' victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for East Moline United, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Coming up, Morris will head out on the road to challenge Plainfield South at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Morris are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Moline United, they will host Moline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
