Football Recap: Monroe Catholic Takes a Loss

After soaring to 50 points the game before, Monroe Catholic was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a blow against the Seward Seahawks, falling 66-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Seahawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-8 back in August.

Lane Petersen had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 129 receiving yards and a pair of TDs for Seward. Those 129 receiving yards gave Petersen a new career-high.

Monroe Catholic now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Seward, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

As of now, neither Monroe Catholic nor the Seahawks have any future games scheduled.
