In Wednesday's Canine Competition, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy prevailed. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Encina Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Wolves not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Western Sierra Collegiate Academy was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15, 25-14.

Despite the loss, Encina still got an impressive performance from Diana Khalvati, who had 12 digs and four aces.

The victory got Western Sierra Collegiate Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Encina, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Western Sierra Collegiate Academy will face off against Futures at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Encina, they will head out on the road to square off against Westlake Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
