Algona waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Southeast Valley Warriors 11-2. Considering the Bulldogs have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Algona's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Southeast Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Algona will face off against Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Valley, they will welcome Northwest Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.75 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
