Volleyball Game Preview: Eastmark Firebirds vs. Crismon Rattlers

After both having extra time off, the Eastmark Firebirds and the Crismon Rattlers will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Crismon is facing Eastmark at the wrong time: Eastmark suffered their first home loss of the season on Wednesday and they're likely out for redemption. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0.

Eastmark was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Crismon came up short against Deer Valley last Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Eastmark's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Crismon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Eastmark was able to grind out a solid victory over Crismon in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. Will Eastmark repeat their success, or does Crismon has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
