Volleyball Recap: Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Beats Edgewood for Their Third Straight Victory

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Edgewood Red Wolves on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-12.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy can attribute much of their success to Natalie Ruberte, who had 17 digs and two assists. That's the most assists Ruberte has posted since back in September.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Edgewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-5.

Coming up, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will face off against Canterbury at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
