The Cedarcrest Red Wolves are taking a road trip to challenge the Woodinville Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Cedarcrest's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 23-0 margin over Bellevue. The match marked the Red Wolves' most dominant win of the season so far.
Lily Rafferty made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Rafferty was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Cedarcrest got a massive performance out of Josie Fiala, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Paityn Craig, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Woodinville made easy work of Hazen on Wednesday and carried off a 20-0 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Falcons' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Lucy Ford was a standout: she scored four runs and stole five bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Mia Scisciani also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
The win made it two in a row for Cedarcrest and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Woodinville, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Cedarcrest has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .504. However, it's not like Woodinville struggles in that department as they've averaged .537. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
