Dawson entered their tilt with Pasadena Memorial on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mavericks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Dawson took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-8, 25-12.

Avery Koonsen paced Dawson's offense, picking up 13 kills. Koonsen got some help from Taylor Ranney and her 15 assists. Ranney was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Dawson's victory bumped their record up to 30-4. As for Pasadena Memorial, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-20 record this season.
