Salamanca is 7-2 against Falconer since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Salamanca Warriors will host the Falconer Golden Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 188th, while the Falcons are ranked 577th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Falconer had no trouble coming through when it counted. They strolled past Kennedy with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 65-48. That looming 65-48 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Golden Falcons yet this season.

Salamanca's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Falconer, their victory bumped their record up to 10-11.

Salamanca came up short against Falconer when the teams last played back in February, falling 62-54. Can Salamanca avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
