Volleyball Recap: Denver South Comes Up Short

Denver South lost against Thomas Jefferson back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Ravens took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The shutout was out of character for the Ravens seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Denver South has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Thomas Jefferson, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Denver South has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Fort Lupton on the 19th. As for Thomas Jefferson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Castle View on the 19th.
