Volleyball Recap: Fontbonne Academy Comes Up Short

Fontbonne Academy managed to slip by Brockton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ducks lost 3-0 to the Boxers on Wednesday. The Ducks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11, 25-19.

Emma Jolley paced Fontbonne Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Jolley got some help from Tayla Jiang and her 14 assists. Jolley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Fontbonne Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Brockton, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Fontbonne Academy has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Archbishop Williams on the 19th. As for Brockton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against New Mission on the 19th.
