Edgewood is 9-1 against Portage since June of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Crusaders will face off against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Edgewood is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Lodi get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Meanwhile, Portage hadn't done well against Reedsburg recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Beavers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since May 8th.

Portage's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Edgewood, the win got them back to even at 11-11.

Edgewood got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May against Portage by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
